Paranormal Premiere
Here's the ticket for the Paranormal Premiere. Addy's face is in the background ... looking creepy!!
Outside on the marquee, announcing the special premiere.
Another shot with the Carmike Cinema's in the background.
The red carpet was roped off. Here's a sign telling other movie goers what is happening. I took this photo but didn't really read it until I came home later and uploaded the photos. Imagine my surprise when I saw Addy's name in the sign!!
Addy being escorted down the red carpet by her daddy, Jon.
Posing for a picture, Addy and her daddy.
Addy by herself stopping for another photo.
Addy's name was also on the beginning credits at the beginning of the movie. Here is her name on the ending credits.
This one is blurry, but a picture showing Addy's baby brother, Rylan, also in the movie.
Incase you haven't seen the poster, Addy is the little girl in the window. This is actually the screen for the DVD, but I could see Addy better here.
Just finished seeing the movie. Beaming with pride.
Another shot of my little movie star.
The production team had all the actors sign the poster. Addy signed beside her ghostly self.
A group shot of all the cast and crew that came out for the premiere.

One Last Sunset teaser trailer
One Last Sunset is still in production, but the production company has put together a teaser trailer for everyone to see. Here's the link http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3SAicFRuXjs
You can clearly see Addy, it is a pretty dark trailer, but neat overall!!
The director of the film, Kevin Richmond, had this to say about Addy on his facebook page ....
"Kevin Richmond Addy is simply brilliant ! It's an honor to work with her. So much talent at such a young age and it's amazing to watch her. "
He has been awesome to work with too!!

Mixed news
Ok, we have been hush hush for a little while about something very exciting Addy just went through. We feel it is ok now to mention it, so here goes.
At the end of July, Addy auditioned for a film called "Battle: Los Angeles" a Columbia Pictures full feature film. The audition went great, and they had her run lines we didn't get sides for and they filmed her and had her do it over and over. So we felt pretty good going home from the audition.
Well she did get a callback!! Addy was the only girl to get one from our agency, and she was the only girl from NC!! The callback was in Baton Rouge, Louisiana!! When we arrived, there were girls from all over the US! The auditions had been multi-city, and there were 22 girls there.
Addy was auditioning for a role called Kirsten (8). She had to be able to cry and act frightened. She had both of those down too. First they had to audition for the producers, then if they liked the girl, they moved her to the next round for the director!! There were also girls there for another role Amy (10).
Addy did great for the producers and made it to the next round!! She was then 1 of 7 for the role of Kirsten!! So Addy also auditioned for the director, then we were told it was ok to go home, that they had everything they needed on tape.
The next day, our agent was contacted, and they asked for Addy's info in digital format, she was now one of the FINALIST to be decided in Hollywood! Since then, we have heard an un-official rumor that they decided to go with two girls from Los Angeles. We don't know if this is a fact or not, we know they are still auditioning other roles, but if it is, we couldn't be more proud of Addy for getting so close to an impossible role!!
This was a "run of the film" role!! We would have been on location for months!! As the casting director put it, "this will pay for your child's college education". So you can see why we were so excited about it.
Even though it seems like this is a "no go", she was seen by so many people, and even had her information sent to Hollywood!! We feel that at this point, that we knew she had talent, but now they must know she has some talent, or she wouldn't have made it so far out of so many girls from across the nation!!
Way to go Addy!!

Pirate Chains
This past Saturday, Addy worked on the set of another movie called "Pirate Chains". Addy plays a little girl named Stacy. Here is Addy with her movie parents. "The perfect family". They are the opening scene of the movie, and Addy actually has the first line of the movie!!
Here is Addy getting her makeup done.
Addy all ready to go, hair and makeup are done!
Addy posing for me, she is holding her "prop", a colored sheet that a child might do while in church.
The man in the green shirt is Tyhm Kennedy, he is the director. Here is he getting them ready to know what to do for rehearsal.
Addy and her mom rehearsing.
More rehearsing. There were a lot of extras on set, and they had to keep rehearsing to make sure everyone went where they were supposed to go.
Here Tyhm is working again! He was sooo good, an awesome director, and he loved how tiny she was for her age. He thought she was 6 when he met her, not 9 1/2!
After they were done shooting the scene for camera, they had to get the folks that had lines to do the scene again for sound. Here Addy and her mom are doing that. The best compliment we got that day was from the director, casting director, and the writer of the film. They kept telling me that Addy was the most consistent child, from the first time to the last time she said her lines, it was the exact same!! They were impressed by that!

Pirate Chains
Addy will be in a new movie on August 1st.
Addy was submitted for background as an extra. The casting director liked her look and asked for more photos of her, what her age was and what size she wore, etc.
Addy was upgraded to a cast member named Stacy!!
It is a dayplayer with lines, and we are very excited!!
It is a non-union feature film being directed by Tyhm Kennedy.
Addy is on a roll!!
She has been doing quite a few auditions lately, some for SAG films.
On one SAG film, she is a finalist, and we had to travel for her callback.
It is a major motion picture, and it is a "run of the film" role, meaning months of shooting.
We are hopeful, but realize it is out of our hands now. She did the best she could.
I will tell more once we find out if she got it or not.
I just don't want to jinx anything.

One Last Sunset

Awesome, awesome, awesome time on the set of "One Last Sunset"!!First, the story line is really good for a zombie film. This film will also be submitted to Sundance, and Addy will be getting an IMDB credit once it is completed. Yeah!
Addy also made quite an impression on some folks! The director, Kevin Richmond of Peep'in Tom Productions (pictured above), told Addy that she "was one talented little girl" and he gave me his business card!! He also said "she won the heart of the cinematographer" and that the cinematographer kept putting the camera on her whenever possible because she looked "so wicked"!!
Addy will also be featured!! At one point they told all the zombies to get behind Addy because they were leading the scene with a closeup on her and them widening out to reveal the other zombies!! I must say, her makeup on the first day was really good, and she knows how to make it have an impact, because of her experience on the set of "Paranormal".
Also, just to mention, they were short on zombies the first day (about 20 did not show!!), so I got to be a zombie too. I ran to Walmart, got some clothes I didn't mind ruining, and viola! My makeup wasn't nearly as good as Addy's, mainly because I was background, so I didn't get as much detail as Addy.
Well ... I will post more photos Friday, I am not at my computer right now, and the one I am on is running so slow (dial-up yikes!). So I am running out of patience. The lady with Addy in the first photo, I do not know her name!

Zombie Film
Addy will be working this weekend, as a child zombie in a new film called "One Last Sunset". I don't know much about the movie right now. They really wanted adults and teens over the age of 16, but Addy was one of a handful of kids chosen to be part of filming.
.
We leave today to go to location, and call time tomorrow is 6 AM, ugh, but that is part of the business, they have to get all the folks through wardrobe and makeup.
.
I will get photos of our zombie girl and post sometime next week. Addy is working both Saturday and Sunday, both should be 12 hr days. So we will be exhausted by the time we get back Sunday night.
.
Check back in next week ...

New Pics
Last week Addy went down to Atlanta and had new photos taken. These are just a few of the 48 pics the photographer took. I got these sent to me via email, and I am expecting the CD today via FedEx. So I might put up more pics sometime next week after I go through them all.

Addy is wrapped!!
Sadly, yesterday was Addy's last day of filming for Paranormal. We just can't say enough good things about the cast and crew Addy got the pleasure to work with. The folks at Cross Shadow Production were just fabulous with Addy, and every thing was handle so professional, but yet so much fun!! Addy also got to meet a bunch of talented actors, but she really grew a bond with John Rutland, the man playing her father. Here is what John had to say about Addy on The Southern Casting Call board:
"I just wanted to drop a quick note to tell folks that Addy wrapped on "Paranormal" last night (yes, we are coming down the home stretch) and I am SOOOOO mad at her..........being the lead, I had the false illusion that I was going to steal the show but NOOOOO this little girl is so talented and did such a great job throughout the filming of "Paranormal" that I am truly in awe of her. She is a great actor and very fun to be with. It was truly my pleasure working with her and just goes to show you that you are never to old to learn from a child!!!
John aka Greg Evans"
John is also an unbelievable actor, and brought tears to my eyes and goosebumps to me several times!! He made the scenes look so real - which I guess is what he is supposed to do!
Believe me when I say, we wish the filming would never be complete, we will miss the time we spent with everyone!! I guess all good things do have to come to an end at some point, it is just sad when that times comes.

Paranormal set - Addy and little brother
On June 6, Addy was back on set, the last time as a ghost too. This time it was really neat for Addy because she was sharing the big screen with her baby brother Rylan!! We are so happy Rylan was chosen to play "Janice's baby" in the movie.
.
.
Here are some photos from that day on set. We aren't allowed to show all the photos, since we were shooting the finale, so here is what we are allowed to share.
.
Here is our family, Addy and Rylan are wrapped for the day and we are about to go home. Addy was happy, this was the last time her hair would be "sticky" and Rylan was sleeping.
This is Addy with the Pastor in the film.
This is Addy, wrapped for the day, with Maryn, the director's daughter. It was her birthday the day before!! She is holding the kitty Addy gave her. Happy 4th Birthday Maryn!!
This is Addy with Tiaan Kruger, the cinematographer and executive producer.
