Milites Christi - Soldiers of Christ

Well we are home from another weekend of shooting (our third in a row!). This time it is for the movie "Milites Christi - Soldiers of Christ". It shot in Winston-Salem. The Producer is Clint Buckner, and the Director is Jared Outten. It is a period film, set after a war on a battlefield in Northern Europe in the 13th Century. Addy plays a Pagan Slave named Sibyl. The film is being shot by the NC School of Arts and being submitted to several film festivals. The Dean of the School is Jordan Kerner - big time producer - and he has mentored Clint Buckner and came out to support him while filming was taking place.

The movie is being shot on a horse farm, here is Addy and another little boy getting some time to pet the extremely social horses.

Magic 8 Ball

Over two weekends, Addy has been shooting a UNCW Films production called Magic 8 Ball. There are three principal characters; Ryan, Young Ryan and Katie. Addy is Katie. Her father is abusive and there are some pretty dramatic scenes, all of which Addy nailed. Other characters are Katie's Father, Karen, Old Man, and Old Lady. It is a short film.

The Writer/Director is Rob Cummins, and the Producer is Meredith Lynch. Below is a picture of Addy and the crew. The story is based around Ryan remembering his past after seeing a Magic 8 Ball. He remembers in pieces, but eventually puts it together about his friend Katie and what her abusive father does to her.

Here is Addy with Donald Moore who played "Katie's Father". He was the nice man that had to act mean and he did an awesome job. He was also able to do it without actually hurting Addy.

Well that is it. This film won't be ready until April 2009. I know I posted a lot of photos, but just wanted to share. They aren't done with this film, Addy is due to return for another day of shooting.
